Okay, seriously.
Apparently in March a nearly a year old post was hit by 13 comments from two IPs in a matter of minutes with blather. Why does this happen, someone please explain?

Obama Transference
It is becoming increasingly apparent to me that Republicans suffer from a very particular form of psychological transference, in which whatever is embarrassing about their party becomes something delusional they believe about Obama, something with no basis in reality...well, with no basis in reality FOR OBAMA, and every kind of reality for their side...
For example, during the presidential election, the birthers first came into existence, and showing them a birth certificate* as well as announcements, etc., does not dissuade them from their delusion that Obama was not born in the USA...this despite the fact that John McCain was NOT born in the USA. Delusion versus Fact.
Likewise, Ben Quayle recently starred in a political ad where he shares his delusion that Obama is "the worst President ever" despite the fact that he's largely considered a highly successful president, even if one I as a genuine Liberal tend to be fairly unhappy about...this despite the fact that many scholars consider THEIR last guy, George W. Bush to be one of the worst presidents ever.
Likewise, the things the Republicans kvetch about the most in the Healthcare law, such as the get-insured-or-else provision are things that they, in fact, many of the SAME republicans, proposed in 1993.
Not all Obama Transference is directly thrust at Obama, nor is all Obama Transference covered on most political news shows. For example, we all know about the fact of Right Wing Gay sex scandals, but the delusion that Obama had a gay lover isn't that well known. Some Right Wing rag sheets that don't need the page hits actually claim he had a lover who he had murdered.
This transference is the sign of a party that needs mental and emotional help, and maybe our prayers, but we really should stop passing it off as hilarious hypocrisy and instead see it as the cry for help it is...
*The same kind of 'certificate of live birth' that the Central New York town where my spouse was born gives out-including to hundreds of children of American SOLDIERS who've had kids while living on the nearby base-nice to know those kids of heroes aren't 'real Americans.'

Where to get your Who, Part 7
Once more, for those playing at home, here is Wikipedia's list of Doctor Who episodes, which is also linked below:
After Time off for the new Who, we return with Doctor #6, and a confession.
I admit that I am the odd-man out, preferring Doctor #1, 2 and 3 to Doctor #4, but the series lost me, as a kid, with Doctor #5, who I loathed as a kid, and now, having watched all the episodes, loathed as an adult (I cheered when he died, ask my wife.) I genuinely believe the series improves dramatically from *after* the first episode of the 6th Doctor's tenure. That being said, this list is about letting YOU watch (and listen to) the whole series uninterrupted, not about what I do or don't like...but I do think pretty much #134-136 are absolute dreck, the WORST episodes of the series...out of all of them, EVER. I actually blame the 5th Doctor for killing the show, although it managed to limp along for five years after his tenure. I can only imagine how awesome it would've been if we had a doctor more people liked in the early 1980s...
Since I'm waxing philosophical, I'd like to add that I'm not intending to place any links for where to find the New series...you can find them without difficulty, legally and otherwise. This list began because it DOES take net-fu to find those early episodes, but pretty much everything from Doctor #3 onwards has been "on DVD from Netflix and online at Daily Motion."
